My name is Jessica, and I'm a 29 year old woman living and working in Chicago. I moved here nearly 10 years ago for school, and in that time the city has become home. I love vintage fashion and vintage style, everything from the 10s up through the 70s, and while I'm still learning things like how to do the perfect roller set and which girdle looks best under my tightest dress, every day I feel a little more confident in my style.

I'm also a feminist, and to me, that means helping every woman, everywhere, find her voice and her place in the world as an equal to any other person in it. I think the most important thing that any person can do is promote education for every child, male for female.

Social justice issues are deeply important to me, but I'm not all seriousness. I also love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen; pop culture, particularly as it relates to science fiction and fantasy; and learning to craft, especially sewing.

For me, this blog is a journey, and one that I hope you'll enjoy taking with me. Every day is a chance to learn, a chance to grow, a change to be glamorous and have fun doing it.
