By the time this goes online, I'll officially be 30 years old.
I'm not expecting any drastic life changes to magically occur just because I've hit some arbitrary measure of "adulthood." Actually, to be honest, I've always felt like the same person that I was at 13 - a bit better dressed, maybe, but still silly and geeky and kind of weird. I do feel like I've got a bit more perspective, though, and I'm generally better at taking care of myself than I was when I was, well, 25 or 26, even.
I have a few goals for the next year - sock away some money into savings, stop buying so much food that I end up throwing out, spend 15 minutes every day cleaning my house so that I don't have to spend so long cleaning it once a week or once every couple of weeks. You know, little things. And beyond that, I want to keep getting a little bit better, day by day; learning more, seeing more things, expanding my horizons. I mean, I had the same goal at 25, but maybe I'll be better at it since I'm older and, hopefully, a little wiser now.
