Master of My Domain

Picture it - I'm Mick Jagger, it's 1972, and I'm just bought a big ass mansion in the English countryside. Or at least, that was the brief that Brian gave me; how do you think I did?
It's not quite an English country house, though. It's the Humboldt Park Stable and Refectory, built in the late 1920s, and modeled, I'm guessing on a Scandinavian stave church. In a quirk of city planning, though, it's now the National Museum of Puerto Rican Culture and History.
Originally we'd planned to shoot at a different building in the park, but there was a wedding going on and that would have been super awkward. "Hi, we don't know you, but we're going to preempt your big day to take some photos for my fashion blog! Also, congrats on your marriage, hope it lasts!" No.
The museum had just closed when we got there, but the grounds were still open. When we went to leave, though, we found that all the gates were locked. Thankfully, hopping the fence wasn't as hard as we thought it would be, although I was glad I wasn't wearing a skirt that day.
I think before the next time I try to do a menswear look, I need to actually study up on men's posing. It's so hard! I kept wanting to do the kind of poses I usually do, but it looked totally wrong with what I was wearing. It's hard to project dignified, masculine cool when you're used to doing something more along the lines of ethereal fairy princess.
So what did you guys get up to this weekend? After my adventures in breaking and exiting, I think I should probably try and keep a low profile for the rest of the week.
