Pink Lady

This is kind of my platonic ideal of a spring outfit. A pretty tulle skirt, a simple and comfortable button down, a pair of walkable flats - it's easy to wear and it makes me feel really cute, which makes any outfit a win in my book.

I have a few of these 1950s or 60s button downs, and they're such a wardrobe workhorse that I'd like to pick up a few more. They can be dressed up or down, they're comfortable, and though they're often quite boxy, they tuck into a high waisted bottom well and look flattering doing it.

I'm also absolutely in love with this skirt. I picked it up from H&M about a month ago, and I keep reaching for it in the morning when I'm getting dressed. The tulle and the pleats and the ruffles kind of sounds like a lot, but in practice it's surprisingly versatile. I love this delicate pink, but it's also available in black.
