Spring Forth

The weather this weekend was absolutely beautiful. It's been quite dreary and rainy for the past few weeks, so I'm pretty sure everyone in Chicago was out and about, which is just how it works once things start to turn nice here.

I haven't unpacked my spring/summer clothes yet, so I ended up reaching for a couple of sundresses that I hadn't put away, paired with the same cardigan and a cute pair of shoes. I'm still feeling a little under the weather (I've got strep throat, which, bleh), so I wasn't really in the mood for anything too over the top in terms of either clothing or location. Sometimes a good dress is really all you need.

As you can probably tell, I've had a fair bit of tattooing done recently. It startles me a little bit, when I look in the mirror, but honestly, I love them. I kind of always wanted to be a "tattoo person", even when I was a kid and it was much less mainstream than it is now. I've got a little bit of work to be done on the big one on my shoulder, and then that's basically it. I'm not going to miss being under the needle, but I will miss the process of transformation.

I hope everyone else had a lovely weekend as well!
