My Favorite Products for Combination Skin

Everyone thinks of winter as the worst time for your skin, and there's no doubt that the cold, harsh air can wreak havoc on your complexion. Changing seasons always require adaptation, though. As the weather has started to warm up a little bit, I've found gentle but thorough cleansing and light moisturizer help keep me balanced. Combination skin can be hard to deal with sometimes, but it's worth it to spend the time searching out the right products to deal with your particular issues.
1. Petitfee Hydrogel Eye Lifting Patches
These gel under eye patches are a Korean invention, and like most Korean beauty products, they're wonderfully effective. I keep these in the refrigerator and put them on in the morning while I’m making my breakfast. They help depuff my eyes, and the extra shot of moisture helps my concealer go on smoothly.
2. Boots Beautiful Skin Cleansing Oil and 3. Micellar Water
I never would have thought I'd fall in love with an oil cleanser, but here I am, singing the praises of this one. The Cleansing Oil takes off my makeup without over-drying my skin, and the micellar water removes any leftover residue. In the morning, I’ll use the micellar water followed by toner, which gets rid of the residue of the night without stripping my skin.
4. Mario Badescu Hydro Moisturizer with Vitamin C and 5. Glycolic Acid Toner
I love Mario Badescu products. They're really good quality, but not as expensive as similar products. This toner keeps my skin smooth and clear, and I’ve seen a definite improvement in my hyperpigmentation since I started using it. The moisturizer is literally perfect for me – it’s nice and creamy, but it absorbs fast and doesn’t make me shiny.
What changes do you make to your skincare when the weather starts to change?
